Join us on Wed, March 1st for our Beer, Cheese & Chocolate Dinner, an intimate and memorable evening featuring five mouth-watering courses where chocolate and small-batch, artisan cheeses are the star! Each course will be expertly paired with our hand crafted Throwback Brewery beer:
Amuse Bouche: Triple Crème Kunik Cheese from Nettle Meadow Farm (NY) washed in our El Chupbrewcabra Mexican Porter, served with house-made seeded crackers and mustard
First Course: House-made Dark Cocoa Spaghetti with fresh shaved Gouda
Second Course: Our own Cheddarwurst crafted from Jasper Hill Vault 5 Cheddar, served on house-made Chocolate Potato Roll with Hank’s Pale Ale Cheddar Sauce, House Mustard, and our Kraut
Third Course: Farmhouse Chalet Fondue with Roasted Cauliflower, Roasted Carrots, Cocoa Pretzel Rods, and Local Venison for dipping
Dessert: ‘Bleu Cheese-cake’ made with creamy Jasper Hill Farm Bayley Hazen Bleu, with Bittersweet Cocoa Crust and Fig Chutney
This dinner is the evolution of the Chocolate, Cheese, and Beer pairing event that we’ve traditionally hosted during Portsmouth Beer Week over the last five years. Every year it has sold out, so get your tickets today!
The pre-tax and gratuity price for this event is $44. For ticket sale purposes and customer convenience, we’ve made it inclusive of the 9% required NH meals tax and also gratuity for our amazing staff. So $55 up front gets you a spot at the dinner with no obligation the evening of the event.
