Beara Irish Brewing Co. announces new ale to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber
Come join us at Beara Irish Brewing in Portsmouth for the release of “Eatman’s Ale”! This beer is being specially brewed for our friend, Matt Eaton! This will be a Strong ale infused with a splash of local Maple Syrup just in time for Spring.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Matt Eaton Memorial Golf Tournament and the Jimmy Fund, which gives hope to cancer patients everywhere.
Eatman’s Ale will be available in 22 oz. Bottles and in pints in the taproom ONLY until its GONE! –

PORTSMOUTH, NH, March 25, 2017 — A new ale to raise money for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is in the works.
The Beara Irish Brewing Co. (which is located at 2800 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, NH) announced that a new ale will be brewed to support these funds.
The limited edition brew is named Eatman’s Ale (a Strong ale) and a portion of the proceeds of the brew’s sales in the taproom will be contributed to the Matt Eaton Memorial Golf Tournament, in memory of Matt who fought a courageous battle with cancer for a year before passing away in November of 2016.
Michael Potorti, Founder/Brewer explains “Kerry (Marshall) contacted us for a donation and I was planning to make a Strong Ale so the timing was perfect. It’s a noble cause and I think her efforts are great.”
Kerry Marshall, member of the Matt Eaton Memorial Golf Tournament committee explains “The Eaton Memorial Golf Tournament was founded to honor the memory of our good friend, Matt Eaton. Matt was an amazing son, friend, and person; he also loved to golf.”
Kerry adds “Beara Irish Brewing has graciously offered to brew an ale especially for Matt. A portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting the tournament.”
A kickoff release party will be held in the Beara Irish Brewing Co. taproom on March 31 @ 6pm. Eatman’s Ale will be available in 22 oz. bottles, pints and growlers through the taproom only.
